Child Psychologist

Job Summary

Essen Health Care is expanding its behavioral health services and seeks a Part-Time Hybrid Child Psychologist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing psychological support to children and adolescents, collaborating with families and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders
• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
• Collaborate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, school counselors, and social workers
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to case discussions
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in EMR systems
• Educate families on mental health topics, interventions, and coping strategies
• Contribute to the expansion of behavioral health services in the community

Requirements

• Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program
• Licensed Psychologist in New York State
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents in clinical settings
• Familiarity with diverse populations and culturally competent care
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and hybrid care models

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Experience in urban or community health settings preferred

Essen Healthcare offers a competitive salary of $65 per hour.
