Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience performing social services, probation and enforcement services, or community support and welfare services for adult and child protection.
Special Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mandatory overtime may be required for this position.
Example Of Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as a supervisor and evaluator of a team of CPS Workers, providing clinical consultation and direction on complex case decisions.
- Review and approve safety plans, court summaries, and case assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Facilitate unit meetings and case conferences to brainstorm interventions and resolve barriers to permanency.
- Monitor staff caseloads and performance metrics, ensuring all statutory deadlines for investigations and home visits are met.
- Liaise with community partners, including judicial officers, law enforcement leaders, and service providers to strengthen the local child welfare network.
