Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining reports, assessments, and case documentation.
- Selecting, summarizing, and presenting case material for transfer to permanency or prevention workers.
- Determining and coordinating placement of children in substitute care facilities.
- Attending multidisciplinary conferences to assess needed services.
- Transporting clients during protective custody, placement, or relocation.
- Performing additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
- Preferably a master's degree in social work or related human service, criminal justice, or law enforcement field, with relevant professional experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in social work or related field with one or two years of related experience.
- Experience in casework, case management, family preservation, reunification, adoption, youth development, counseling, or advocacy.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and ability to pass a background check.
- Physical, visual, and auditory capabilities to perform duties, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.
