Child Protection Specialist

About the role

The role is responsible for managing state parks and ensuring public safety.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance state park facilities.
  • Oversee daily operations including maintenance, security, and visitor services.
  • Collaborate with local communities to promote environmental stewardship.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure public safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in park management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in park management or similar field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of state park regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with GIS software.
  • First aid certification.

Pay

$75,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience.
