Child Protection Specialist

About the role

This position involves case assessments, documentation, and coordinating placements for children in need of substitute care. The role includes preparing reports, presenting case material, attending multidisciplinary staff conferences, and transporting clients for protective custody and placement changes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or a related human service field, or
• Bachelor's degree with professional casework experience in family preservation, reunification, or advocacy

Skills

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities
• Capacity to work in a 24-hour on-call environment, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Pass a background check
• Physically capable of performing duties
