Child Nutrition Specialist

Job Duties

• Be patient, attentive, and have excellent decision-making skills.
• Follow the assigned schedule and check in with the supervisor on completion of daily duties.
• Serve student meals in a fast and friendly atmosphere.
• Be responsible for checking/cleaning own area to meet the standards of food safety.
• Follow guidelines to ensure correct serving temperature and adequate portion control and quality of products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Kansas Food Handlers Card.

Skills

Excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
