Child Nutrition General Worker - 0.5 FTE at Lincoln High School

About the role

Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available. As a General Worker, you will prepare and serve meals to the students of our District.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food
• Sets up serving line
• Serves food
• Cleans serving and preparation area
• Washes dishes, pots, and pans
• Restores order to serving area
• Adheres to District safety procedures
• Reads communications from Child Nutrition Services Office
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow written and oral directions
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance
• Consistent work attendance

Physical requirements include constant standing, hand-eye and mind-eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, bending over, stooping, hearing, holding, and crouching.

Pay

Level DX, starting at $17.75 per hour. Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
• 0.50 FTE, 20 hours per week, 9 months
• 2026-2027 Child Nutrition Worker calendar
