Child Nutrition General Worker - 0.5 FTE at Patrick Henry School

Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available. Requirements

• Education Level: High school diploma.
• Physical Requirements: constant standing, hand‑eye and mind‑eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, bending over, stooping, hearing, holding and crouching.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to exert up to 50 lb of force occasionally, up to 20 lb frequently, and up to 10 lb constantly to move objects; adhere to District safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Consistent work attendance.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Prepares food.
• Sets up serving line.
• Serves food.
• Cleans serving and preparation area.
• Washes dishes, pots, and pans.
• Restores order to serving area.
• Adheres to District safety procedures.
• Reads communications from Child Nutrition Services Office.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Pay Information

Level DX, starting at $17.75 per hour.

Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.

Hours & FTE

Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week, 9 months.

Benefits

Benefits are available for positions 20 hours per week or more.
