Child Life Specialist (Part Time)

About the role

Provides coordination of patient and staff education to support, protect, and promote the health and welfare of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs for children and staff.
• Ensure age-appropriate care and support for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support patient safety and promote health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Child Life, Child Development, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a related role.
• Certified by the Child Life Certifying Commission of the Child Life Council.
• Knowledge of pediatric care needs and developmentally appropriate practices.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
• Technical knowledge of child life practices and procedures.
