Child Development Assistant - PM (Part-time)

About the role

This is a part-time preschool teaching position working 3.8 hours per day (12:12 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) for 184 days per year. The position is covered by a 5-step pay scale with salary range 24, paying $19.08 - $23.22 per hour; highest placement with experience is step 3.

Education Requirements

• Minimum of 6 ECE Units required
• Assistant Preschool Teacher or Preschool Teacher California Credentialing Teacher Permit preferred

• District/end-of-month paid employees (excludes timesheet and probationary status) should apply during the first 5 days of the 10-day posting period
• Probationary employees will be considered with external applicants
