Entry-level Child Development Assistant working in the Discovery Club program with school-age children ages 5–12.
Pay
$18.11 – $19.74 per hour / $3,139 – $3,421 per month (CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule).

Qualifications
- Relevant experience and/or education in early childhood or child development.
- Official transcripts required if degree or coursework is from a foreign institution (must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency).
Preferences
- Associate Teacher Permit (ATP) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
- College units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), especially completion of 6 ECE units.
- Previous experience working with school-age children ages 5–12.
Requirements

- Proof of ATP, higher-education transcripts, and/or 6 ECE units (if applicable).
