About the role
The Child Care Worker is responsible for providing quality care and education to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Cook and serve nutritious meals to children
- Supervise children during playtime and group activities
- Monitor children’s health and safety
- Engage children in educational activities
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and empathy
- Physical stamina for lifting and moving children
Skills
- Basic computer literacy
- First aid and CPR certification
