About the role

This position involves creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children, maintaining open communication with parents about their child's progress, and ensuring a safe, clean classroom environment by following established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement hands-on activities tailored to children's needs and interests.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's milestones and daily updates.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom setting.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and licensing standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: college coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or related degree.
  • Experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
