About the role
The Child Care Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a childcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Valid CPR and first aid certification
- Experience working with children
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of child development stages
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Pass a background check
