About the role

As a leader at Little Sprouts – Babilou Family, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our childcare centers across Massachusetts. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of childcare centers, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the educational and developmental programs for children.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to foster a positive and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Engage with parents through regular communication and support their involvement in their child’s education.
  • Participate in community events and partnerships to promote the values and mission of Little Sprouts – Babilou Family.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in early childhood education or related field.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid Massachusetts Early Education and Development License (EEDDL).
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
