About the role

Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County (BGCLC) is looking for energetic, fun-loving, adaptable, youth-focused individuals to help foster a fun, safe, and positive before and after school experience. This individual will travel to our different Club locations across Larimer County to substitute or assist as needed (This role is not assigned to a regular location).

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and leading a variety of fun and memorable after school programs in areas such as academic enrichment, good character & citizenship, and healthy lifestyles
• Help ensure safety of our Club members
• Act as a mentor/role model for school aged youth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least three months (455 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of four or more children over the age of four (not related to the individual) or a current early childhood professional credential level I (one) or higher
• Prior experience working in an after-school setting is highly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is highly preferred
• CPR certification highly preferred
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behaviors
• Must be able to pass a criminal/driving records investigation and reference checks

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $18.00/hour – $19.00/hour (variable hour, part time, non-exempt position)
• Before School Hours: Wednesday 7:00 am – 9:00 am
• After School Hours: Monday – Friday 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm
