Responsibilities

• Aid in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the coordinator.
• Create and carry out activities that are developmentally appropriate for the children they are working with.
• Meet the educational and physical needs of each individual child.
• Maintain a safe environment by observing appropriate equipment for children’s developmental skills.
• Provide input for conferences with parents to discuss their child's progress and any issues that arise.
• Observe, record, and report individual and child’s behavior as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have credits to meet MN DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications.
• Minimum two-year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications.
• Willingness to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the center’s policies and philosophy.
• Physical ability to see and hear ongoing activities of the children and able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds.

Qualifications

Benefits

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $14-16. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

Pay

Schedule

Shift Available: Monday-Friday; our hours are between 6:30am- 6pm (7-8 hour shifts).
