Child Care Aide/Supervisor

About the role

Direct and manage the operations of the district childcare center. Plan and implement operations and program following the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and district guidelines.

Qualifications

To be qualified, candidates must have a Child Development Associate credential or Certified Child Care Professional credential with six college credit hours in management, and a valid Child Care Center Director's Certificate issued by the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.

• Effective organizational, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate center functions
• Ability to implement policy and procedures
• Demonstrated knowledge of state childcare guidelines and licensing requirements
• Ability to manage budget and personnel

Experience

Two years of experience in a licensed childcare center is required.
