About This Role

Join the support team at WNC Child Development Center in Carson City, NV as a Child Care Aide. This role pays $12 – $13/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

• Develop engaging activities with the children that align with the curriculum, as crafted by our Head Teacher.
• Prepare materials for our Teacher, to ensure our planned activities run smoothly.
• Provide care and support with diapering and potty training, as needed.
• Assist the Head Teacher in maintaining a clean and tidy classroom.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned, such as maintaining our CDC kitchen and organizing our supplies.

Requirements

• Requirements prior to employment:
• Federal background check
• TB skin test clearance
• Employee costs:
• All employees who are 18 years of age and older are required to submit fingerprints to local and federal repositories for background checks prior to start date.
• Applicant cost: $8 for one fingerprint card payable to Carson City Sheriff's Dept.
• Requirements for the duration of employment:
• Employees must take the State of Nevada required initial training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Employees must take annual hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related subjects every licensing year of employment.
