About the role
Provide culturally sensitive assessments and tailored outpatient therapy to children and families, develop crisis and safety plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic mental health care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and create a welcoming environment for diverse clients.
- Provide individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
- Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
- Participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning.
- Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms accurately.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff for comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Provisional license if required by state regulation.
- Strong communication, rapport-building, and time management skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional development.
