Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens

Role Overview This position is for a licensed psychiatrist providing inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents in a dedicated facility. The clinician conducts evaluations, develops treatment plans, and manages medications for pediatric patients requiring inpatient services. The role involves full-time work during day shifts, with responsibilities including call coverage shared with another provider. Key Responsibilities Perform psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.Manage medication regimens for pediatric inpatients.Provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary team.Participate in a call rotation with other clinicians. Qualifications & Skills: Child and Adolescent Fellowship completion required.Prescriptive authority necessary.Experience in inpatient psychiatric care preferred.Strong communication and collaboration skills. Additional Details: Support staff includes psychiatrists, pediatric clinicians, and social workers.Work location is on-site in an inpatient facility.Caseload varies with patient needs and length of stay.Focus on treating child and adolescent psychiatric conditions.
