Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This position involves providing part-time psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting for children and adolescents. The clinician will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and deliver therapeutic services within a structured environment that includes on-site educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychiatric assessments and medication management for high-acuity pediatric patients.
• Work approximately 12 hours per week during day shifts.
• Participate in call coverage as required.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team in a residential setting with variable patient caseloads.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is mandatory.
• Experience managing high-acuity psychiatric cases in a residential environment preferred.
• Strong clinical evaluation and medication management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a structured therapeutic setting.
