Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
About the role
Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the team at Samaritan Behavioral Health - Pleasant View in Albany, OR. This hospital-employed, PSLF-eligible position offers some telehealth availability and minimal call responsibilities, primarily consisting of infrequent backup coverage for an adjacent inpatient psychiatry unit where residents and fellows serve as the primary first-call providers.
You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that includes one on-site child psychiatrist, four additional child psychiatrists at a neighboring site, a therapist, a care coordinator, and MA support. The clinic operates Monday through Friday with an average volume of 10-12 patients per day. Visit types include initial evaluations, medication consultation/management, and limited therapy. There is also a mentorship opportunity with Samaritan Child/Adolescent Fellows and Psychiatry Residents.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (new grads encouraged to apply)
- Open to experienced PMHNPs
- Eligibility to work in the United States
