Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments to evaluate client's mental status and the need for pharmacological services and psychotropic medication
• Provide treatment recommendations and prescribe medication accordingly
• Offer individual psychotherapy services
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions and prescribed medications
• Communicate with the treatment team to identify progress and areas for improvement to service delivery and frequency

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing
• Board certified as a PMHNP in Ohio
• A minimum of two years of PMHNP prescribing experience
• Active DEA license/registration
• Valid driver's license and provision of transportation, insurance, and the ability to use your car for work
