Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
About the role
The Brien Center, Berkshire County’s largest provider of community mental health and addiction services, is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their multidisciplinary behavioral health team. They welcome both new graduates and experienced psychiatric NPs who are passionate about serving children, teens, and families in a community-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing psychiatric treatment
- Work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of clinicians, case managers, and crisis staff
- Diagnose psychiatric conditions and prescribe medications
- No physical exams required
- Regular supervision provided by a board-certified psychiatrist
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry preferred but not required
- Passionate about working in a community-based setting
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on psychiatric mental health nursing
- ACNP certification preferred but not required
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Pay
Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
