About the role
As our Therapist and Intake Counselor, you will meet with children, adolescents and their families for an initial behavioral health assessment and collaborate with them to create a personalized treatment plan that reflects their unique goals and needs. Through regular individual, family, or group counseling sessions, you’ll build a trusted therapeutic relationship—continually evaluating progress and adapting treatment to ensure clients receive the care and encouragement they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Meet with children, adolescents and their families for an initial behavioral health assessment
- Create a personalized treatment plan reflecting unique goals and needs
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement a treatment plan
- Provide regular individual, family, or group counseling sessions
- Evaluate client progress and adapt treatment as needed
Requirements
- Licensed as LCSW or LPC
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program
- Completed internship, field placement or practicum
- Knowledge of community resources
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural diversity and dual diagnosed mental health populations
