Position Summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in Frederick, MD. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and empowering you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young patients and their families.

Employment Options

Available part-time positions for independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC, and LMFT). W-2 Employee - Part-Time (20 hours/week)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total Earning Potential: Up to $100,000+ annually
  • Guaranteed income with predictable scheduling
  • Base Salary: $50,000 for a part-time schedule (20 hours/week)
  • Additional Earnings: $80 per clinical session for additional clients beyond your base caseload
  • Benefits: Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with employer match, and paid time off
  • Paid weekly clinical consultation for ongoing support and skill development

The Basics You'll Need

  • Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Maryland
  • One (1) year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients
  • One (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
  • Your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet (if applicable as a 1099 contractor)
  • Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 4pm ET during the week and/or weekends

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2-26)
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress
  • Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients
  • Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers
  • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records
  • Involvement and advice from family members or outside specialists when appropriate

Salary Range

$85,000 USD - $90,000 USD
