About the role

As our Therapist and Intake Counselor, you will meet with children, adolescents and their families for an initial behavioral health assessment and collaborate with them to create a personalized treatment plan that reflects their unique goals and needs. Through regular individual, family, or group counseling sessions, you’ll build a trusted therapeutic relationship—continually evaluating progress and adapting treatment to ensure clients receive the care and encouragement they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with children, adolescents and their families for an initial behavioral health assessment
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on client needs
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide regular individual, family, or group counseling sessions
  • Evaluate progress and adapt treatment as needed

Requirements

  • Licensed as LCSW or LPC
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program
  • Completed internship, field placement or practicum
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural diversity and dual diagnosed mental health populations

Qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral health counseling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for improving lives and communities
