Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to child and adolescent inpatient and residential patients
- Deliver weekend call coverage and clinical oversight
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists, nursing staff, and support personnel
- Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities, including treatment planning and medication management
- Document care accurately
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Active or eligible Virginia medical license
- Minimum five to six years of psychiatry training and experience
- Mets credentialing requirements for participating physicians
