About the role
The Service Director role is focused on patient care within Inpatient treatment services for Child and Adolescent cases in a high-supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the inpatient service
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Manage the clinical and administrative aspects of the service
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program
- Board certified in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
- Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia or ability to obtain
- Minimum of three to four years of practice experience
- Mets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of adolescent psychiatry and treatment modalities
