Responsibilities
- Provide long term Psychiatric care to males and females ages 9-17 y.o.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff
- Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities, follow-ups and new admissions
- Document care using EMR
Qualifications
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in C/A Psychiatry
- Active or eligible Virginia state license
- 4-6 years of training and/or experience in Psychiatry
About the Role
This position offers competitive compensation, no weekend rounding, and a supportive team environment, enabling you to concentrate on providing direct patient care to children and adolescents aged 9 to 17 with a variety of psychiatric treatment needs. You will collaborate closely with fellow Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, psychiatric nurses, therapists, and special education professionals.
