Chief Technology Officer

Job Duties

• Ensures high-availability of systems and infrastructure.
• Builds an engaged workforce through leadership, talent development and collaborative employee relationships.
• Establish the organization’s technical vision and leads all aspects of technological development.
• Acts as a good steward of the company's resources and ensures control of departmental budgets.
• Provides leadership in the development and implementation of enterprise IT services.
• Oversees the physical & technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures, programs, and processes.
• Other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of advanced design and implementation and experience for enterprise computing.
• Excellent interpersonal communications and management.
• Excellent leadership and self-direction.
• Excellent judgment in handling difficult situations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work extended hours.

Education and Experience

• Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration or related field.
• Work Experience Required: 10 years experience in successfully managing complex hospital and patient care delivery.
