The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Morgan's leads enterprise technology strategy, AI adoption, data governance, and guest/member-facing digital experience across all Morgan's entities. The CTO is the architect of Morgan's digital future — evaluating, recommending, and implementing technology and AI solutions that improve guest and staff experience, strengthen data-informed decision-making, and advance Morgan's mission of inclusion.

Essential Functions

  • Technology Strategy & Vision

Evaluate AI platforms, tools, and vendors against business value, security, privacy, scalability, and cost.

  • Guest & Member Experience Technology
Oversee property and guest-facing technology for Morgan’s including native app development, and for Morgan's Hotel, including smart-room accessibility features guest check-in technology, as well as similar technological advancements in other Morgan’s entities.
Direct technology infrastructure decisions supporting active builds — connectivity, access control, surveillance, point-of-sale, and wristband/fob systems — in coordination with construction, architecture, and procurement partners during current build-out phases.
Partner with entity teams (Camp, MAC, Wonder Care, Sports, Inclusion Institute etc.) to modernize guest- and member-facing technology, including scheduling, member portals, and EMR integrations.
Evaluate and support partner technology integrations (e.g., YMCA, Wonder Care) including low-voltage, WiFi, and access-control infrastructure.

  • Cross-Enterprise Data & Systems Integration
Maintain enterprise visibility into the state of data across all Morgan's software and platforms; lead the long-term strategy to unify disconnected data sources for enterprise-wide analytics.
Advance a data warehouse strategy with AI reporting capabilities, including secure, private LLM-based tools.
Promote effective integration between organizational applications, databases, and platforms to reduce duplicate data entry and disconnected processes.
Ensure the privacy, security, and ethical use of data across all systems, including IT policy development and disaster recovery planning.

  • Vendor, Budget & Performance Management
Manage the enterprise technology budget, approve technology-related expenditures, and partner with Finance to ensure spend stays on track.
Source, negotiate, and oversee technology vendor and managed-services relationships (e.g., MyTech) to ensure timely, on-budget, high-satisfaction delivery.
Track KPIs, ROI, and project delivery timeliness across enterprise technology initiatives; report enterprise-wide technology performance to the Group President and Executive Leadership Team.
Evaluate and recommend technology headcount and staffing needs as initiatives and enterprise scale grow.

  • Cross-Enterprise Consulting & Leadership
Serve as the enterprise's internal technology consultant, translating department needs (Finance, People Services, Marketing, Development, Operations, the Institute) into technology solutions and business cases.
Provide grant-submission support and technical backup materials for the Development team.
