Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage complex data processes, pipelines, and models.
• Create and maintain tools to run and manage massive data pipelines.
• Streamline alert systems to transform raw data (generally in terabytes) into actionable insights and ensure safe, scalable deployment.
• Develop system tools to monitor the health of machines and databases.
• Design and plan migration of systems to a microservice architecture.
• Build an in‑house distributed system delivering sub‑second performance for dashboard applications on the UI.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a role such as Data Engineer, Senior Analyst, or related position.
• Experience must include:
  • Data engineering or data science work with time‑series data.
  • Cloud computing, distributed computing, and parallelization.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Bash.
  • Introducing new features and metrics into datasets by collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Low‑latency trading algorithms.
• Telecommuting may be permitted pursuant to company policy; candidates must reside in the New York metropolitan area.

Pay

$260,000 – $350,000 per year
