Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing technology-driven company in Miami, for an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead its engineering organization and technology vision. Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company technology strategy in alignment with business goals
- Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering, architecture, and IT organizations
- Oversee software architecture decisions and technology stack selection
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on product and business strategy
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes
- Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and infrastructure investments
- Drive cybersecurity strategy and ensure data privacy and compliance standards
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential business impact
- Oversee cloud infrastructure strategy, scalability, and system reliability
- Represent the technology function to investors, partners, and customers
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including executive roles
- Proven track record leading and scaling engineering teams of 30 or more
- Deep expertise in modern software architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices
- Experience setting technology strategy that supports rapid business growth
- Strong background in cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to boards and investors
- History of successful product launches and platform scaling initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $210,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
