Park Community Credit Union is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking executive to serve as its next Chief Strategy & Capital Officer (CSCO).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a financial strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Designs and oversees capital strategy, including capital deployment, optimization, and long-term planning, such as ECIP strategy.
  • Drives balance sheet strategy across key areas including liquidity, funding, asset mix, and yield optimization.
  • Translates strategic priorities into measurable financial outcomes and enterprise performance targets.
  • Leverages data-driven insights and forward-looking analysis to provide executive-level insights on growth strategy, pricing strategy, capital allocation, CECL strategy, and overall financial risk.
  • Provides strategic governance, oversight, and risk alignment by ensuring strong financial management practices, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Advances enterprise data and decision intelligence by overseeing the development of robust data analytics capabilities.
  • Evaluates and guides the financial strategy for partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and other key strategic opportunities.
  • Maintains a professional work environment, promotes teamwork, and builds respect among coworkers.
  • Maintains a businesslike appearance and follows all security policies and procedures.

Performance Measurements

  • To be an ambassador of Park's culture supporting the credit union's mission to build thriving communities together.
  • To achieve enterprise financial performance targets by aligning capital strategy, balance sheet management, and growth initiatives with the organization’s strategic plan.
  • To provide clear, data-driven financial insights and strategic recommendations that support executive decision-making and organizational direction.
  • To build and sustain a high-performing, engaged leadership team across Finance, Data & Analytics, and Strategic Planning.
  • To ensure capital strategy, financial planning, and risk management practices align with regulatory expectations, internal controls, and the organization’s defined risk tolerance.
  • To proactively monitor and communicate trends across financial performance, balance sheet dynamics, and enterprise growth.
  • To identify and advance opportunities for revenue growth, cost efficiency, and financial optimization through innovative capital strategies, pricing approaches, and enterprise initiatives.
  • To maintain a professional work environment, promote teamwork, and build respect among coworkers.
  • To follow all security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to manager immediately.
  • To follow the credit union’s Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures, including running OFAC searches, completing investigative reports of suspicious activity and currency transaction reports timely and without error.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience: Ten years to fifteen years of similar or related experience.
  • Education: A master's degree, or a bachelor's degree plus professional certification (e.g., CPA).
  • Skills: Requires a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; excellent analytical skills, people skills, and self-direction; proficiency with PC accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing software; background in bank data processing systems preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Sit, stand, and walk short distances.
  • Use hands and fingers to count currency and handle, manipulate, and feel objects, documents, and office tools and equipment.
  • Read, write, listen, speak, and use personal computers, copiers, telephones, and other office equipment and software.
  • Sometimes stoop, bend, squat, and reach overhead with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally push and pull of office furniture and other objects.
  • Lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and on occasion lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
