Responsibilities
- Lead software engineers across TSC to develop and implement sustainable software architectures on current and future TSC hardware products.
- Work with existing software teams to create a software architecture that supports multiple products to maximize reuse, minimize development time, and ensure long-term maintainability.
- Support the design, implementation, integration, test, and maintenance of real-time software on ARM and Intel processors running embedded operating systems.
- Work across the products and teams to implement a sustainable software architecture and supporting development processes.
- Lead by example to enforce architecture, design, and test methodologies.
- Support all phases of detailed system and subsystem development activities for real-time software applications, including upfront analysis, prototyping, end item development and evaluation in laboratory and field test environment.
- Work with product owners to define and implement iterative software releases to meet customer deliverables.
- Work with program managers in project definition, scoping, staff selections, and execution of the software components.
- Work with TSC leadership to manage software IP.
- Support corporate efforts to develop common software practices across the company.
Requirements
- BS and minimum 18 years of experience in industry.
- Experience with iterative development, defining and maintaining software architectures through the product lifecycle.
- Experience delivering software products in USG contracts.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and subject matter expertise.
- Excellent organizational and communications skills.
- Able to prioritize work and maximize productivity.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing software product lifecycle on hardware products.
- Experience developing and maintaining µService embedded software solutions.
- Experience in real-time software development.
- Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development.
- Experience with hardware and software in the loop simulation and test.
- Experience with Yocto, Artifactory, Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Xilinx’s MPSoC & RFSoC devices.
- Familiarity with RF signal chains (i.e. mixing, filtering, up/down conversion, etc.).
