About the role
The Chief Physician Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides clinical leadership, teaching, and administrative oversight across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role serves as the PA departmental liaison, collaborating with medical leadership and hospital administration, and coordinates PA clinical schedules to ensure adequate coverage across Labor & Delivery and outpatient sites.
The Chief PA delivers care in the Labor & Delivery unit, Maternity, L&D Triage, inpatient rounding for GYN, ER consults, first assist in OR cases, and outpatient OB/GYN visits.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week: 36 hours clinical, 4 hours administrative
- Day/Night rotating schedule, including weekends
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Physician Assistant experience post-graduation
- Ideal candidates will have 5 years of OB/GYN experience
- Previous experience in GYN Surgery First Assist, C-Sections, OB Triage, Labor Management, and Postpartum Rounding is preferred
- Strong desire to serve an underserved, multicultural patient population

Pay
Guaranteed base salary range of $157,373 – $195,416, determined by qualifications and experience.
