Tulip is seeking an experienced AI Process Engineer to join our team and help lead the revolution in manufacturing operations through the application of AI and machine learning.

About the role

As an AI Process Engineer at Tulip, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that transform manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand manufacturing processes and identify AI/ML use cases.
  • Design, develop, and train machine learning models to improve efficiency, quality, and traceability in manufacturing operations.
  • Integrate AI models into Tulip’s platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts, to deploy AI solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize AI models post-deployment to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI/ML and manufacturing technologies, and apply them to Tulip’s products.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers and internal teams on AI best practices and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML model development, training, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills

  • Machine Learning (supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, NLP).
  • Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, transformers).
  • Data visualization and storytelling (e.g., using Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau).
  • Experience with manufacturing data (time-series, sensor data, or IoT) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, MES, or Industry 4.0 technologies is highly desirable.
