Chief of Staff
About the Role
The Chief of Staff is one of the most consequential and wide-ranging roles in the company. This position sits directly beside the CEO and is designed with a singular operating objective: learn how the CEO thinks, operates, and makes decisions, and over time become capable of acting in the CEO's place across all areas of the business. This is not a traditional administrative, project management, or departmental role—it is a full-spectrum apprenticeship to the CEO seat, encompassing executive scheduling, inbox management, high-stakes client relationships, corporate governance, strategic infrastructure, and business development. The Chief of Staff is expected to develop fluency across all areas.
The mandate: Be the CEO's operational extension—ensure nothing falls, nothing is missed, and the business moves forward with or without the CEO in the room.
The first six months are intentionally broad, fast-moving, and immersive. The Chief of Staff will be looped into everything the CEO touches—client conversations, internal leadership decisions, vendor calls, corporate projects, tour activations, and board-level communications. Scope will be wide, and workflow will frequently shift. Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action are requirements. After six months, responsibilities will be formalized based on demonstrated impact.
