Chief of Staff

We are seeking a dynamic professional with strong communication and leadership skills to serve as Chief of Staff.

About the role

In this key role, you'll help oversee City departments while acting as the important link between the Mayor, City Council, and the community. You'll exercise conflict management to resolve sensitive issues, serve as the Mayor's representative in union negotiations and personnel issues, and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, promoting accountability, and supporting professional growth.

Additionally, you'll make presentations to various boards and commissions, attend meetings, conferences, and other events out of town and out of state as needed, and serve as the key point of contact between the Mayor's Office and nonprofits, community partners, and other governmental agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee City departments and act as a liaison between the Mayor, City Council, and the community

Pay

Annual salary: \$104,225.64 – \$151,080.48

This is an at-will, appointed, full-time position.
