Opportunity Details The Chief of Service – Ambulatory Care will provide strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership for ambulatory services. Provide leadership to clinical providers in Ambulatory Care and set expectations for attendings, house staff, and mid-levels.Provide educational and academic leadership.Support quality and performance improvement activities, managed care expansion, patient growth, risk management, and compliance issues.Collaborate with the faculty CMO, Department Service Chiefs, Nursing, and Operational Leadership.Participate in the recruitment process of new faculty and Chiefs.Represent the facility on the NYC Health + Hospitals Ambulatory Care Leadership Council. Participate in Facility Leadership meetings such as the Service Line Meeting, PCMH, ACO, DSRIP, and Finance.Oversee ambulatory-care performance metrics and outcomes.Support clinic-based research and academic initiatives.Identify and implement operational processes and systems designed to improve efficiency, quality, access, and patient experience.
