About the role
The University of Florida Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. This is a faculty position in the non-tenure or tenure track with the rank of Associate/Full Professor. The applicant should be board-certified in Pediatric Rheumatology.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for program development in all areas of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology
- Provide patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings
- Teach pediatric fellows, residents, and medical students
- Conduct research and supervise the division's research program
- Train in musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Collaborate with adult rheumatology, orthopedics, and PMR
- Provide care to children with primary immunodeficiencies and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
- Offer comprehensive allergy services
Requirements
- M.D. degree or equivalent
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
- Board certified in Pediatric Rheumatology

- Experience in pediatric rheumatology
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
- Research experience
