About the role

The University of Florida Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. This is a faculty position in the non-tenure or tenure track with the rank of Associate/Full Professor. The applicant should be board-certified in Pediatric Rheumatology.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for program development in all areas of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology
  • Provide patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Teach pediatric fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Conduct research and supervise the division’s research program
  • Train in musculoskeletal ultrasound and collaborate with other departments
  • Provide care to children and adolescents with primary immunodeficiencies and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
  • Offer comprehensive allergy services to children in North Florida and the Panhandle

Requirements

  • M.D. degree or equivalent
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
  • Board certified in Pediatric Rheumatology

  • Additional relevant experience or qualifications
