HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a full-time Chief of Emergency Medicine for our 24-bed Adult Emergency Department (separate from the 10-room Pediatric ED) in Loxahatchee, FL, within the greater West Palm Beach area.

About the Role

  • 65,000 annual patient visits (~45,000 Main ED; 20,000 Peds ED)
  • Full-time position with 120 clinical hours per month and an average of 1.7 patients per hour
  • Mixed schedule with 9–11 hour physician shifts
  • 25 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage

  • 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) coverage
  • 24/7 on-site ultrasound technician
  • 24/7 MRI availability
  • Comprehensive Stroke program

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Florida medical license with DEA
  • Prior Chief of Emergency Medicine experience
