Chief of Adult Congenital Heart Disease
Position description
The University of California, San Francisco, Division of Cardiology, is seeking to hire an excellent candidate to serve as Chief of Adult Congenital Heart Disease for a rapidly growing clinic and inpatient service. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. The ideal candidate should also have experience building and leading programs, or the potential to lead programs and has a national presence with research, education or service to the field of ACHD.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Cardiology Division Chief and work closely with others in the Cardiology Division, the Pediatric Cardiology Division, and with other Departmental, and Health System leaders in developing and executing strategies for continued growth and operational efficiency of the ACHD program. The candidate will be an outstanding clinician (with a clinical effort as an outpatient cardiologist) who is either a nationally recognized or an up-and-coming clinical and academic leader in Cardiology.
