About the role
The Chief Nursing Officer - Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. Direct the provision of 24-hour nursing services for the facility.
- Develop, implement and revise corporate, facility and Nursing Services policies and procedures within the guidelines of the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the facility and taking into consideration the recommendations of the CEO, the Medical Director, the Director of Clinical Services and the nursing staff.
- Review the progress, quality and effectiveness of all nursing programs.
- Establish methods for evaluating nursing care practices, formulate plans for new programs and changes to existing programs, and initiate and/or utilize studies and research applicable to the development of nursing services.
- Consult with the CEO on the development of long and short-term facility projects, goals and objectives of Nursing Services.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field required or working toward master’s degree with clinical supervision.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards.

Pay
This is a full-time role with an expected compensation range of $130,000 - $170,000 annually, plus potential for quarterly and annual bonus.
