Responsibilities
- Support the organization's philosophy of care
- Serve as the nursing management team supervisor
- Liaise between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees
- Prepare monthly reports
Qualifications
- Must have a postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field, or be in the process of obtaining one
- A current, unrestricted license to practice nursing by the State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and before patient contact
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, particularly with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
- Experience in patient assessments, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or similar entities
- Prior leadership experience is highly valued
