Responsibilities

• Support the organization's philosophy of care
• Serve as the nursing management team supervisor
• Liaise between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees
• Prepare monthly reports

Qualifications

• Must have a postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field, or be in the process of obtaining one
• A current, unrestricted license to practice nursing by the State Board of Nursing
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and before patient contact
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, particularly with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or similar entities
• Prior leadership experience is highly valued
