About the role
Rate, the second largest mortgage lender in the U.S., has developed a groundbreaking super app—The Rate App—with the ambition of becoming the most successful financial services technology company in the country. The Rate App serves as a comprehensive wellness hub, supporting both financial and personal well-being. Our strategy begins with leveraging our extensive base of over 1 million existing customers and thousands of sales professionals that cross-sell a wide range of financial service products.
The GOAL of the Chief Marketing Officer is to aggressively build out a consumer direct business by getting over 5 million App downloads within the next 2 years and cross selling to those consumers. As we expand, we plan to introduce dozens of additional products and deepen the functionality of our personal wellness hub for both financial and personal wellness.
Responsibilities
- Build a national consumer direct business with a clear and tested playbook for scaling through paid social, organic social, partnerships with micro and macro influencers, podcast sponsorships, and other high-impact marketing channels.
- Lead cross-functional teams and agencies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Create and execute organizational structure to support rapid growth and bring the vision to life.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in B2C fintech, mortgage, or a consumer-driven industry.
- Deep expertise in digital performance marketing—scaled customer acquisition engines with proven results.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and agencies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset—drive direction and execution without waiting for direction.
