About the Role
Orange County's Credit Union is investing in a leader: Chief Marketing Officer to contribute to our mission of innovating our business and creating a superior member experience. This position is currently hybrid-eligible, with the expectation of three days pre-assigned on-site attendance. This role requires California residency and living within a 50-mile commute of our headquarters in Santa Ana. Now, we're looking for a visionary, hands-on executive leader to help shape the future of our member experience. The CMO will lead a team of Associates across all Member Experience oriented functions for the Credit Union, including, marketing, public relations, communications, philanthropic giving, and community relations.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Develop, articulate and execute the overall business strategy for the defined business units
- Participates in the decision-making process as a member of the executive team
- Continually examine members' needs and concerns across all delivery channels and recommend changes that will result in easier and improved Member experiences
- Implements a service and sales culture throughout the Credit Union to promote membership growth

The Experience You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years combined retail/consumer banking experience with proven sales and operations management and people management skills
- Strong leadership and management acumen with a proven track record of serving as a change agent by formulating and executing growth-oriented strategic plans that drive exceptional performance
- Previous experience engaging and interaction with senior level executives and board members

Compensation
Final offers are based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The anticipated range for this role is $250,000.00 - $330,000.00 annually.
